I saved the label from an ordinary can of corn last night to share with you today because I was struck by the intricacies of the logo. This is a house brand.

The green coffee sleeve was on my to-go cup this morning.  This illustration is just wonderful -- colorful and artistic. When I had the chance, I pulled the sleeve off and wanted to read the copy.... #FAIL. 

• Reverse type on a lime background just doesn't work.
• The font selection doesn't help either. 
• Too much copy in a limited space.
• Organization logo & website is lost.
• Lacks a 'call-to-action'

This is a promotion for Autism awareness -- unfortunately the designer wasn't able to utilize the copy space to the organization's advantage. 

I picked up the NMC Magazine "Untold * Unseen * Uncovered" recently and was impressed the overall concept and the individual entries. It was presented as a pad of postcards submitted by students.

The laser cut work on this ear ring is astonishing. Some what large for my personal taste at 3" high but elegant just the same.

My daughter was working on this illustration, using my brand spanking new red Sharpie! Glad she found a creative way to use up the marker.
